    Comparison of ESU-based workflow and conventional workflow for acute stroke patient triage and treatment. Conventional workflow: ① Stroke onset - ② arrival to a hospital - ③ initial clinical assessment - ④ transfer in CT/MRI room for imaging examination - ⑤ transfer out of CT/MRI room for further clinical assessment - ⑥ reperfusion therapy in eligible patients. ESU-based workflow: ① Stroke onset - ② arrival to a hospital - ③ one-stop clinical and imaging assessment, and initiation of reperfusion therapy in eligible patients. ESU, emergency stroke unit.
